Delta update in Material Movement Extractor (2LIS_03_BF)

Former Member

Hi All,

I have a problem when extract the delta update for extractor 2LIS_03_BF.

I created good issue for one material from SAP R/3.

Then, I try to extract the delta update. I expect to get 1 record, but NO records can be extracted.

Should I re-initialize the setup table ? or is there anything that i miss ?

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Martin Darmawi

Hi,

Depending up on the update method defined in LBWE for the application and schedule time of background job(if the update mode is queue delta, unserialized v3), the records(changed or newly created) are available in RSA7(we can say for delta extraction to BW).

So you have not given information regarding your check on this issue.

Hi Anil,

Thanks for your reply.

I checked on the system, I use unserialized v3 update as you mention in your reply.

And in RSA7, i see the green light on the extractor 2LIS_03_BF.

so, should i change to direct delta ?

Hi,

Desiding the update method( US V3,Direct or Queue) also depending on the Clent's Business scope. To slove your problem it is not compulsary to change the Update method.

Are you able to see any records for application 03 in LBWQ? If so, schedule the job immediately from LBWE for this application ,so that system transfers the data from LBWQ to RSA7.

green light on the extractor 2LIS_03_BF in RSA7 only indicates that there is delta process for this data source. It does not mean that the entries has reached to RSA7.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I can see the record for MCEX02.

But I can't see any records for application 03.

So what does it mean ?

Thanks,

Hi Gurus,

I think when you have Unserialized V3 Update the data is first stored in Update tables (SM13) and then from their we have to schedule the job control to transfer it to RSA7.

and LBWQ is used when we have queued delta so that could be the reason that your are not finding any records in LBWQ for 03.

check it in SM13..you will find the

(i hope i am on right track plz confirm)

thanks

Harish,

Thanks a lot for your help.

I tried to create good issue for one material. And I just check the affect to the tcode that you told me before.

in SM13, I found one record with the status : V2 processed. Do I need to wait until it is completed because when I tried to run my delta infopackage, it still nothing.

in RSA7, all data sources has total 0.

in LBWQ, I found 1 record with Queue name MCX02 with the total entries 463 records.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot for your help.

hi Martin,

do you schedule the job control as mentioned by Harish ? (to collect the sm13 queue to bw delta queue rsa7) transaction lbwe, click 'job control', set it to run periodic, e.g 15mins. hope this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I can create the job parameter - run periodic for every 15 minutes. But when i scheduled the job, it will send me error message "Error generating job".

I also check to the RSA7, everything still zero.

Any advice ?

thanks for your help.

Martin,

Have you scheduled the Print parameters ? Make sure those are green before you can schedule a job.
