How to change version of file?

Hi,

I stored one file in easy dms, now i want to make some change into file so when i edit the file and save it to on desktop.and again i try to save this file into easy dms with same name at that time while i am entering the version (previous version is 00 now trying to store the file with same name with another version  01) and save the file by default the version is same that means again 00 .

could you please let me know how to change the version of file?

Hi Aniruddha,

I hope you are changing the document in CV02N, try to create the document in CV01N  with same document name automatically New Version will be triggere if you hadnt maintain any special condition for the document type in OAC2 Transaction.

Hi Anirudddha,

can you check whether you have have tick on version box by SPRO path

Document Management->Control Data->Define Document Types.

if there box is not ticked then mark tick that then test system will create version to your document.
