Hi Emily,

There are two possibilites.

1) You might be trying to create SICF service for SOA_MANAGER in your testing client. Try to create the same in your DEV System and check.

Else.

2)As you mentioned "it is prompting you with Auth. error".Check what auth is it check for in SU53 log and accordingly ask your security team to assign the role which has that auth. object.

Hope this will help you to resolve your issue.

Thanks

Dear KH,

Thanks for your reply. Actually I need grant access right to my account then it's able to create. But do you know why sap* and DDIC has no authorization to create as these 2 accounts has the system administrator authorization. And also if create service for SOA_MANAGER, do we need to create in client 000 instead of custom client?

Hi,

You need to investigate what authorization is missing using SU53 t-code and accordingly you need to assign that role.

You need to create SICF service in you DEV System.

Thanks

Hi KH,

I can use my account to create service by assign necessary authorization using SU53 in my customizing client, but I still can't access to that service even I can create by my own account.

I have try to enter client: 000, user: sap* or DDIC in logon data. It prompt "error in cross client". But I'm thinking I don't have my own account in client: 000 to create service. And also I have enter customizing client, sap* in logon data. It prompt: "Service cannot be accessed".

So could you advice if those service are need to create in client 000? Or it's available in customizing client?

Hi Emily,

There is another work around which will help you. The webdynpro component associated with SOAMANAGER is C_SRT_MANAGEMENT_MAIN . Try to create Z-Application for that component and check the same.It is as same as creating application in SICF.

PFB the snapshot for your reference. This snapshot is from my DEV system.

Thanks

Hi KH,

Thanks for your reply. I can create in sicf now after I exit and create service again. But do you know what is the handler object in service: wsdl? I have try if I don't put object in handler list, it prompt: "Service WSDL cannot be accessed". Could you advice?

Hi,

Im very sorry as i dont have idea regarding what handler object you need to assign .I crossed checked the standard component SIFC services, in that handler object is blank.

I think CL_SRT_WSP_WSDL_HANDLER_HTTP is the handler.  You can find the same tree structure in SICF: sap – bc – srt – wsdl

Thanks

Hi KH,

I can't find the handler in CO class. Is that able to create by my own? Actually I need to enable the SOA manager for the purpose to input some information from barcode scanner to our SAP system via ABAP connectivity. Do you know any other method instead of using SOA manager?

Hi Emily,

It seems like an authorization issue. Please check with Security team, so that they would be aware of assigning the proper roles.
