0FI_GL_10 Delta Load Issues

Hi Experts,

I understood that FI data sources delta is based on timestamp.

I am validating few gl accounts values related to 0FI_GL_10 both in R/3 and BW. Values in R/3 FI tcode and RSA3 are matching but not in BW Infoproviders. Perhaps there are delta records which makes the difference between RSA3 and BW cube. When I ran delta load manually assuming that the system will bring delta records from last delta run till the current delta execution but still the values are not matching.

If I run 0FI_GL_10 delta load for every 30 minutes, I am still getting delta records in each run which seems to be incorrect. I didn't notice this peculiar behavior with SD data sources.

How would I get complete delta load till the time when I trigger delta load manually. When I get mismatch, I am running Full Load again which is not accurate solution every time.

I am attaching BWOM_settings and RSA2 screenshot for your reference.Please let me know if I need to setup any specific settings.

Hello Narasimha,

FI_GL_10 has a safety limit of 3600 (1 hr) which will result in value mismatches between R/3 and BW.

But in that case you should be reconciling the data for the closed period and check whether there is any mismatch in BW & R/3. If yes then you are having some missing data at your side

Hi Gajesh,

I have validated RSA3 with FI tcode before 2-3hrs but when I ran delta load for about 4-5 times, I am still not getting required delta records.

I assume delta is not happening as on date and time when it gets executed. I should get all available delta records at a time when I run delta load either manually or through process chain.

it will depends on the safety limit and one hour prior data will be coming in the delta extraction. In RSA3 you get is full extraction which doesn't depend on the time stamp.

That's why I am asking you to reconcile for a closed period, or use the direct access functionality to directly the data from the ECC system using 0FI_GL_10
