Uninstall DB insance in Netweaver 7.4 SR2

Hi Everyone,

I have recently installed SAP DB instance on a DB host in a distrubuted environment which i would like to remmove now. The component is PO (Netweaver 7.4 SR2) and the DB is SQL server 2012 R2. which is the best and correct method to uninstall the DB instance? we have multiple DB instances running on the same DB host .

Please have a look at the attached screen and let me know if this is the correct method? because there is another  program i happened to see on the SAP Help portal whcih is said to b e doing the same thing

Since my DB host containes lot many instances anything i do by mistake will affect everything in the same host. so i want to double check before i proceed to uninstall

Yes, your selection are correct. it will ask profile path in that all more details about SAP instance.

For uninstall the SAP instance you can use the SWPM or SAPINST (Old installation method)

its not require to use the command line.

You can uninstall an SAP instance using the SWPM tool. The SDBUNINST tool is used to uninstall the MaxDB databases.
