Standard Mail application in SAP NW 7.4 Portal

Hi All,

Do we have a standard mailing application in SAP NW Portal (7.4) as we have sbpw in ECC.

How do we send mail from Portal.

Hi Nitesh,

To send out E-Mails, you can configure SMTP server details in Portal.

Please follow the below path:

System Administration-->System Configuration-->UME Configuration-->Notification Emails

Hi Anurag,

These configurations i have already performed.

But this has some predefined notification triggers, such as passoword change etc.

I want to send a private mail from Portal which will go to that users Mail Inbox.

Hello,    

  Go to SCOT---> in the main Screen double click on 'SMTP', it show's you that mail port  25( this is the default port used by SAP). So you please check with your SMTP mail administrator weather they are using same port 25 or not?

After done configuration you may got following screen  in sbwp.
