Editing SC by requestor-sends a 'revision work item' to requestor

Hi Experts,

SC rejection sends the work item to requester inbox with 'Accept Decision / Accept Documents'

When requester/initiator edits the SC and clicks on 'order' button which recalls document and sends 'Revision' workitem again to requester/initiator (WF restarts).

By opening & clicking on 'Order' button again sends the workflow for approval. Is this how standard behaves ?

But we don't want revision workitem to be sent to requester/initiator, instead when requester clicks on 'Order' from  'Accept Decision / Accept Documents' workitem should proceed for approval and get responsible agent. Please suggest !  Note ->SRM7.02

Thanks

Shyam

Hi Yateesh,

Thanks for you reply. Then do I have Order twice to proceed for approval ?

First on 'Accept Decision / Accept Documents'  initiator clicks on order then inbox receives 'Revise workitem' then again initiator clicks on order then workflow proceeds for approval.

Thanks

Shyam

Hi Shyam,

In my previous implementation, when an SC is rejected, the initiator gets a 'Accept Decision' wotkitem. He opens the item, clicks on 'Edit' button. He then makes changes to the shopping cart and clicks on the 'Proceed' button.

In case, the approver 'Inquires', the SC and then the initiator 'Accepts' the inquiry, then the 'Order' button shows up.

But in both the cases, a 'Revise' work item was not generated twice.

Yateesh

Hi,

Can someone please answer this question? When a substitute make a change in a rejected contract then approver and substitute both are getting a work item each. The requirement is that only approver will receive work item in this case. How should I handle this scenario?
