Can you define Leadtime offsets in RCCP?

I make a product that takes 3 months

It goes across 3 Bottlenect resources

Production is schedule for 3000 due march 31.

In MC88 the Production Line is in Monthly Resolution

So the 3000 production in March creates Capacity Requirements in March for all 3 Bottlenecks

In Reality, not all 3 Bottlenecks will support the 3000 march 31 Production in MARCH

Some of the 3000 March 31 Production will create load on the Bottleneck resources in jan and Feb

So this is the business sceanario. I hope it is clear. For the 3000 due in March....that take 3 months to make, how do I show capacity requirements in alignment with where they will really happen?

Thanks

Hi Paul

Did you try to use a routing instead of the Rough-Cut Planning Profile?

You can do that using selection ID 01 instead of 03 on customizing. See the wiki below for details:

Hi Paul,

for these things to check, we need to have information on the masterdata set up:

workcenter:

  •   standard value keys and formulae (for capacity and scheduling).
  • finite capacity scheduling has been chosen or not?
  • available capacity and utilization details.

Routing:

  • what are the quantities and times defined for the operations.
  • whether lead time scheduling has been chosen during MRP run?

what are the results shown by MRP run? and you might want to look into capacity evaluation and leveling transaction also.

Regards,

Sandeep
