A customer installing my 32-bit winform Crystal Viewer app (Cr for VS, SP12) on a server machine (Windows 2008 Standard R2, SP1) claims the installation caused an automatic reboot of the server.
Question: is there a known portion of the install (the runtime? any of the prerequisites?) that might cause a automatic reboot?
Hi Ido
First time I hear of this issue. Would VC++ runtime cause this? (I've also never heard of VC++ doing this, but...). Any other runtime components being installed at the same time? Can they duplicate the behavior on other WIN 2008 computers?
Assumption is they are installing as local admin and all that. But I suspect you know more about that then I do : )

Ludek, thanks for confirming that none of the prerequisites for the .NET runtime is known to cause a reboot after install. I've never seen that behavior before either.
