Date field component setdate gives Java error

I'm using setdate method to set the date for date field component in On startup event. DATE_CALWEEK is being set up correctly but It is giving me attached error when executed in IE 10. Has anyone faced this issue? How to resolve it?

DATE_CALWEEK.setDate("20140101");

Hi Milind - it is working for me using Design Studio 1.4 patch from December 19 on Chrome and IE11

Which version of Design Studio are you running?
