Unable to delete line items in VL31N

Former Member

Hi,

When creating Inbound delivery, once we enter PO no., all the line items of the PO are flowing to VL31N screen. I am selecting all, then deselect some line items and delete the selections. This is to do IBD only for deselected line items.

When doing so, I am getting an error as below.

S:ZZ:001 000130 HN67ZZ001

130 is the PO line item and the last part is material code.

Due to this error, I am not able to proceed further.

Please let me know what could be the reason and how to get rid of it.

Thanks & Regards,

Siva

Ask your ABAPer, this is a Z message

message type ZZ  message number 001

Already Abapper replied that it is a SAP standard message and he has given the following details.

BADI : LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC

Class : CL_IM_SIPT_SD_DELIVERY

Method : CHECK_ITEM_DELETION

As per Abapper, this error is triggered because the material code has ZZ in it and asked me to take this up with SAP.

Before raising OSS, I thought I can try SDN.

there is an OSS note 2009884 - PT OBD: Cannot delete the deliveries which contains ZZ in the materials in the SAP_APPL 60...

But in your case it is certainly a message class ZZ which is a home made message. Just go to SE91, enter the message and check the attributes for the creator of this message class and click the button for last change to see the user who created the message

These are probably users from your IT department

Trust, this note will be helpful. I will try this.

ZZ is not there in SE91. Please see the attachment.

yes, it seems the note is the solution. It looks like SAP delivered a program which was made for a certain customer.

Dear Siva,

It seem this is not an standard error message setting, kindly ask your technical team to debug the same for finding out.
