Error in Payroll run- Separated employee case !!!

Dear Seniors,

Currently, I am facing one payroll issue where employee is on LWP from apr 2013 and his separation action run in sept 2014. Employee's payroll is run till apr 2013 only along with one offcycle run in sept 2013 for bonus and no payroll run after that.

Now while doing full and final settlement , error comes in may 2013 period.

Errror : No Entry in table T549R for key 00.

I have tested while doing changes in payroll status and control record, still error is not resolved.

Please throw some light on this issue.

Hi Sankarsan/ Harish,

Yes, the employee is assigned to valid payroll area.

The  employee is not coming due to his personal reason and LWP is maitained in the system for this employee.

Employee's personnel no was locked and payroll was not run since april 2013 except one bonus payment as I said above.Prior to april 2013 he has some leave balance around 20, user want to clear that amount in full n final settlement. Due to that his payroll need to run and it shows error in may 2013 period.

Hi Sankarsan,

Thanks for your reply.

This is a separated employee case therefore when I tried to change the payroll area, system is giving the below error...

"payroll area change possible only at the end of a payroll period" - for payroll area modification


"CTR is not assigned to a business area" - for date modification.

Hi Ritu,

In this you can control this. Change IT0001 which dummy payroll area from inactive date to separation date.

After that assign correction payroll area with the extention of IT0003 payroll run upto field and then amount maintain in IT15 with any payment wage type.

Then i think so system will process and work. Do the test in dev or quality and then after in prd.

Check and tell me.

Is this a real issue in a live Production System?

Are you carrying out a full and final settlement for someone now (in Jan 2015) who has left in September 2014?

Hi Sankarsan,

No changes is taking place in infotype 0001. Its throwing eraror again and again . This time its showing the error " validity end must be the same as 31.12.9999."

In the Input to PARTT where you are getting the error, can you expand the WPBP and paste the screenshot of that?

Is the employee currently assigned to a valid Payroll Area?

Hi Ritu,

Employee payroll has not run after Apr 2013 and now he can be separated on sept 2014?

Please restructure the query and not clear with this thread. Kindly attach the screenshot while you are doing full & final settlement.
