Hello guys,

We are facing an issue in production environment. Two Opportunities have been created with the same ID.

What all are the factors may lead to this.

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thanks in Advance.

Best Regards,

Ravi Teja

Hi Ravi,

maybe someone reset the 'Current Number' counter of the number range of your opportunities. Then it is possible that an existing number is assigned again:

Hi Aniruda,

Thanks for your response. But both transactions are same type.

Hi Christop,

Actually the number has been set for parallel buffered. So it is taking the number from the table NAVISHADOW table based on the work process id. So if we change the current number whether it will change the intervals of these entries in the table.

Could you please explain more about the curent number usage when buffering allowed.

Thanks for understanding.

Ravi

We have resolved the issue by executing the report  NK_REORGANIZE. Which is modified the entries of the table NRIVSHADOW.

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Number ranges are assigned to process type.

Two opportunities which got created must be from different process type.

And if u go to customizing for transaction type( process type) for each one of it, you will find different number ranges are assigned.

That may case this.
