Doubt in Extraction

Hi Guru's,

we are having a data source which is extracting Delta load data from 1 Month. Now I want to use the same data source for some othet Infoprovider. So how do I start? Is there any difference in methods when we are using ODS and Cube. Does he method depends on type of Etxraction (LO/COPA...)????

Hi Reddy,

First u create your data target ( ODS / CUBE ) as

per your requirement. Then create update rules to this

data target from already existing info source which is

supplying data to your first data target . In the

infopackage delete the initialization . Select both the data targets i.e previous one and new one and do a fresh initialization load to extract all the data from last 1 month into both targets . Later u can start doing deltas.

Hi, You have to delete the delta init and reinit the delta for the required target.
