Hi Folks,

Whenever I create a Marketing plan/Campaign/element I see four statuses by default in status drop down(1.Approved 2.Finished 3.Locked 4.Rejected)

I might not require all these statuses in my current business scenario.May be I need only created, released and approved.Should I remove other statuses or how?

What is Locked?Finished?Rejected? Can I use them?

Regards

Jaya

Hi Jaya,

What is Locked?Finished?Rejected? Can I use them?

Locked : When Mktg objects are moved to ECC then the status is changed to Locked. This means you cannot move objects in the hierarchy.

Finished: This status has to be set for archiving. You can not archive if this status is not selected.

Rejected: If you do not want to use a campaign after it gets replicated to ECC, then you must use this status.

I would recommend to retain all the statuses.

Hi Hari,

Thanks for the response.

Here In my scenario am not using Locked status because I am not replicating any objects to ECC(No PS Integration).Do you still suggest to retain this status.

Finished: What you meant by archiving a Mkt plan? Why do I use it?In which scenario.

Rejected:There is no replication to ECC.Pls suggest

In this case, you can remove.

You will archive old marketing objects to make space for new ones ! this is the scenario. Retain this status, it is important.
