Solman 7.1 Installation on Windows Server 2012R2

Hi Expert,

I try to install Solman 7.1 SR1 on windows server 2012 R2, But in prerequisite its showing OS condition not met(very high).

Any one have idea that solman 7.1 will install on windows server 2012 R2 ?

Please help me on this.

What was condition screen show?

One of them you can fix running following commannd

reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkStation\Parameters /v DisableCARetryOnInitialConnect /t REG_DWORD /d 1

yes you can install solution manger on windows 2012R2 SP1. I did it includes windows 2012R2SP1 and SQL Server 2012 as AllwaysOn cluster.

Yes you can install it on 2012 R2.Check PAM for required.Also refer SAP Note   1878193 - Central Note

Hi kumar,

Check PAM for OS/DB compatibility.

As far as I can recall, 2012 R2 seems to be supported.

But still check PAM once.

Yes, you can install on either Windows 2012 or 2012 R2.

On the same screen you may have solutions you have to follow that or could you share the snapshot help you.

Basic thinks are

1. You have to define the Virtual memory allocation around "physical ram x 2 or 3" times

2. On windows OS disable the UAC & firewall

3. Install JAVA J2SDK & Runtime environment & define the environment variable for
JAVA_HOME= (path of JAVA)
