Cross Schema Table calls in AMDP

Hi Gurus,

How to call cross schema dictionary tables, AMDP and views in AMDP method.

E.g.

METHOD sflight BY DATABASE PROCEDURE

                          FOR HDB

                          LANGUAGE SQLSCRIPT

                          OPTIONS READ-ONLY

USING sflight d10.lfa1. <-- cross schema table.

    Hi Amol,
in the USING clause, you only have to mention DDIC artefacts, i.e. dictionary tables, views, or other ABAP Managed Database Procedures. As ABAP does now know (at least the ABAP class ;-)) anything about database schemas, there's no need to put the "d10" schema in there.

How did you create table/view lfa1? Or the even simpler question, did you try the coding without putting it in the using clause? If yes, did you receive a syntax error and if yes again, which one?

    Cheers,

      Jasmin
