Alter SYS table

Hello,

I need to alter a record in one of the SYS tables, but I do not have the SYS login creds. I have SYSTEM but I only have select with SYSTEM and I am not allowed to assign it more rights. I also try to change the password for SYS but I am not authorized. Any ideas?

What kind of SYS table record do you need to change anyhow?

I would like to change the AGENT_HOST in the  SYS _AGENT table. by doing an update, instead of using the SAP HANA DATA Provisioning Agent

Hi Connor,

I don't think you can login with SYS user like you cannot login as _SYS_REPO as well. Both are technical users in SAP HANA. You can have a look at User Types - SAP HANA Security Guide - SAP Library, part "Technical Database Users". In addition, all tables under SYS schema are system tables and you are not allowed to change anything.
