SFTP to NFS, NFS to RFC

My requirement is to get a file from SFTP server & place it in NFS/Al11 (ECC).

Once I place the file call an RFC enabled Function module. No mapping is involved.

My question is how can I call RFC from PI without mapping.

I have verified RFC parameters & unable to understand if I can call RFC FM using available parameters from ID.

Ideally RFC FM is downloaded in ESR & mapped, but I'm unable to find the solution for this requirement. Kindly help.

    Hi,

If your 1st Interface runs in b/w specific time ,say b/w 10PM to 11PM .You can shedule your RFC to run @11PM from ECC end ,to pick the files placed.

If the above is not the case ,then you can plan the below design.

File -->File,RFC in sequential manner by checking check box in Interface determination to do so.

In FIle to RFC mapping ,pass the filename to RFC ,so the RFC gets invoked dynamically and alse get to know about file name.

Propose the above sols to ECC counterparts ,based on there feasibility they will confirm either of the design.

      Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response ,I'm on vacation.

You can handle the scenario in many ways .I'm sharing onw way of handling the scenario.

1)SFTP-->NFSĀ  (Here @Receiver end you will place 2 files .1 actual file,1 dummy file which will have actual file name(will use dummy structure and mapping to grab file name))) .

2)NFS File(Delete after read of Dummy File) -->RFC .Here you can keep mapping and pass the filenames as well to ECC.Use the above created dummy structure as Input Structure in this scenario.
