standard planning procedures

Dear Expert

As there are different planning procedures  I have gone through  standard  sap help   .  But i want to know  in which scenerio they are used (Example):

1) MANUAL WITH CHECK

2) MANUAL WITHOUT CHECK

1)what is difference between them

2) If there is no stocks for requirement then what is there  ACTION

Hi Virender,

The planning procedure can be configured. You need to check corresponding "Reaction to events " under the planning procedure. e.g. if you have the following event and action:

Event: D4 Create or Change dependent/stock transfer reqmet in PP/DS

Action:  1 Cover Sep/Stk. Requirement immediately with existing receipts

Then the system can assign existing but late receipt elements to the dependent or

stock transfer requirement.

It is clear what you have said but my question is  i want  difference between manual with check & manual without check  events

Hi Virender,

If you check the "Reaction to events ", you will see the difference between "manual with check" and "manual without check". Usually planning procedure "manual with check" is set for the component. "manual with check" always checks component's availability.
