BO Central Management Console export reports to a network folder problem

Hi,

I am trying to have a scheduled report in the CMC export in xls format to a shared folder.

I receive the following error message when the report fails

Error Message:

destination directory error. [CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged]: [No such file or directory]

I looked up the crystalenterprise.diskunmanged issue and was informed to

go the job server and to enable unmanaged disk

but do not see UNMANAGED DISK as an option.

How do i get that option added back in?

Do I need to reinstall the entire CMC?

Will I lose my reports and history in the console if this is done?

Hi Sharon,

To schedule a report to shared location u need to meet below condition:

1. teh account under  which SIA is running or the account which is specified when you schedule the report, should have read and write acess on the shared location.

2. UNC path should be used for shared location . for eg \\myshare\folder, mapped drives will not work

Log on the BO server  where JOb server is installed, 

Start-> Run

type in the shared location  for eg \\myshare

hit enter.

You will be prompted for username and password.

Enter the credentials of the acccount which is used for scheduling.

This should open the shared location. if it doesnot you should talk to ur windows admin to give the user account read/write acess.

Could you please check if the Job servers are updated with the "File System" destination?

Steps to follow:

In CMC, Goto Servers -> Select the Job servers -> Righ click and select "Destination" -> Add "File System" and update the settings -> Save and Close.

Ensure that the directory which you are updating in the File System settings is accessible by the service account.

Perform this step for all the Job servers in your system. Let us know if the issue persist.
