Hi together,
I do have a question:
we enabled to use SSO with Windows Active Directory for Analysis for Office to logon.
This is working fine while opening existing workbooks coming from the BOE platform and of course only for login to the BO platform. This was a huge success.
Now we are struggeling with the situation:
If users try to create a new workbook from scratch and we do have more then one OLAP connection deposited within the CMC (one to productive database (BW) and one to test or quality system for example) the user have to choose which connection he wants to use and then type in his BW user + password again.
How can we configure to login with SSO to one of those systems?
Actually I would suggest it to work like this:
When the user chooses one of those systems within Analysis for Office he or she will be connected with the OLAP Connection authentication settings. Is it set to predefined it always refers to that users connection credentials. If it is set to SSO, the system knows the user from windows active directory like the login to BO platform is working?
Is there a possibility to enable the Windows AD SSO for the BO Analysis Add-in too themselve too?
Many thanks and best regards,
Katja
Hi Katja,
I believe that the following steps can help:
1976414 - Troubleshooting Security Token Service (STS) SSO issues
1. Request you to check whether the keystore is valid or not. Follow the below link to generate the keystore and certificate: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/kIs1DQ
2. Import the certificate to BW. Follow the below url: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/u4s1DQ
3. Import the keystore to CMC > SAPAUthentiation. Follow the link below: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/3Is1DQ

Hi Katja,
What is the BOE version that you are using?
What is the Analysis for Office version?
Are you able to record a LOG file and attach here?
Thanks,
Diego Ferrary
