Garbled cyrillic tab names in NWBC 5.0 PL3 + GUI 7.40 PL1

Hi!

I'm using NWBC 5.0 PL3 + GUI 7.40 patchlevel 1 for Windows. Tab names in NWBC and Windows taskbar buttons names in cyrillic symbols (i.e. for russian language) are garbled, whereas taskbar buttons names in SAP GUI standalone and header names of SAP GUI inplace NWBC are correct.

Please help to resolve this problem.

Hello Andrey,

I have an update for you - so it is not necessary to open an incident:

the issue with the wrong displayed characters in the NWBC tab title will be fixed with Patchlevel 2 of SAP GUI 7.40.

The note 2117285 describes the symptom and in the note 1053737 you can find the expected release dates for SAP GUI patches.
