Customer /Bp sales area

Hi Folks,

When I open BP transaction and open a bp id i dont see the sales area of the bp,but instead I see Assign sales area button next to it.And I see a long list of sales area list when I click on assign sales area?

These are the BP's replicated from ECC.I want to understand why is the sales area not showing up for BP?Can a customer have more than 1 sales area?

Please provide some help...

    Hello Jaya,

    Yes, a customer can have more than 1 sales area. So, there are no sales areas maintained for this customer downloaded from ECC. Am I correct?

    1. Check that you have maintained your CRM organizational model with sales area data and that the sales areas are available (have been brought via middleware download) in your CRM system from ECC.

    2. Check your middleware filters that you have no filter prohibiting certain sales areas from the system.

    3. If 1 and 2 above look good, set up a request for a customer and run CUSTOMER_MAIN and CUSTOMER_REL on a test customer and then go look at the BDocs in SMW02. You might be able to get information from the BDocs if you look at the errors.

      Hi Jaya,

      All sales area button display the all sales area maintain in the system and maintained sales area display the sales area which are maintained for that customer.

      If you want to assign a new sales area to customer than you will select all sales area button and if you want to check that which sales areas are assigned to that customer then you will select the maintained sales are button.

    Hi,

      In CRM we need to maintain the mapping of CRM org data to the ECC org data. In PPOMA_CRM under funtion tab we can map the org data. Check if it is available. The sales org is not replicating in the Customer which may be due to wrong mapping or the mapping is not available.

    For an Account you can have more than one sales org. We can maintain through manual or replicate from ECC.
