No valuation area is assigned to plant XXXX

Dear all

        can any one can help me with this error and i had linked the plant with the valuation area and the division and business area and this  error appear when i create equipment and maintenance plant. so any ideas

No valuation area is assigned to plant 1000

Message no. IS506

Diagnosis

No valuation area that is assigned to the specified plant could be found.

System Response

Processing will not be continued.

Procedure

Make sure that the plant was specified correctly. If it was, the missing data must be maintained in Customizing.

Hi ,

Could you please check for your Plant if valuation area is assigned?

check in table T001W by input of plant. Normally plant if created without copying from standard will results in such errors

check the assignment of your Plant to Company code in SPRO-->ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE-->ASSIGNMENT-->LOGISTICS GENERAL-->ASSIGN PLANT TO COMPANY CODE
