UI Theme Designer available only in Read only Mode

Dear Experts,

What are the roles required for ui theme designer.

I have created a fiori admin role but whenever i launch the theme designer i am not able to make a copy of available themes.

It appears to be in read only mode itself.

Can anyone point out what i am missing

your inputs on this please.

Hi Rakshit,

You can open it in display mode and save as in different name.

Thanks for your response.

Even the Save As option is greyed out.

I also checked the SU53 logs but there is nothing captured.

Are there any specific roles for Theme Designer?

Hi Rakshit,

You can take authorization trace in the transaction ST01.

Please make sure you have implemented mandatory notes.

Dear Masa,

I tried it with a user having SAP_ALL but still the option is greyed out.

Please enter test app URl and change some color. Is save as menu active?

Hi Rakshit,

You should run the test app in the theme designer.

Please upload a screenshot after running the launchpad in the theme designer.

Hi Masa,

This has been resolved.

I added one UI5 Control, then added a test page and then it gave the option of saving the theme.

Hi Rakshit,

Check following:

Prerequisites - User Interface Add-On for SAP NetWeaver - SAP Library

1906793 - FAQ: UI Theme Designer for SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP

Authorization object: /UI5/THEME

You could always use SU53 for missing authorizations.
