Error running Load Infoprovider UI data manager package - (Cannot perform write (ILLEGAL_INPUT))

Hello All,

We are on EPM 10 SP 19 Patch 1. I have been trying to run the Load Infoprovider UI data manager package. But it has been failing with the following error message. So it does look like it is failing in the CLEAR CUBE DATA step of the process chain. I made sure the cube is in the planning mode. I even tried the note 1759399, but with the same result. And there is no lock in the work status as well. Any help with this would be appreciated.

RUNLOGIC = No

CHECKLCK = No

Reject count: 0

Record count: 343296

Skip count: 0

Accept count: 343296

Task name CLEAR CUBE DATA:

Cannot perform write (ILLEGAL_INPUT)

Hello,

@Gersh,

I checked SLG1 and the error message just reads the same thing "Cannot perform write (ILLEGAL_INPUT)". It doesnt provide any more technical details about the error.

@Bishwajit: The cube has always been in the planning mode. So, the note you mentioned wouldnt apply for this scenario. Also, the error message in the note you mentioned is different from what I am getting.

Hi Pavan,

Do you know if security is enabled on that cube? If it is, do you have Write authorizations?

Please check Work Status as well.

Security is enabled on the cube. But I do have write authorization for it. Work status looks good too. Anything else comes to your mind?
