BI 4.x Supported Database Servers

Where can we find informaton on what database servers are supported to host the BI 4.x application's core databases?

We are doing prework to plan a migation/upgrade from Business Objects XI R2 to BI 4.x.  I understand there is alot involved, but initially we want to get a sandbox of our own installed for some intial testing.

So based on this we could create a Windows 2012 R2 Server (Standard Ed.) with SQL 2012 SP2 (Standard Edition)?

I noticed that page 23 of the PAM mentions minimum hardware requirements, but I believe this refers only to the Application and Web Layers for BI 4.x , correct?

Are there any MS SQL server Hardware requirements/config settings specific to supporting this database layer that will host the CMS + Auditing databases?

Yes page 23 refers to only App and web layers and if you have existing MS SQL DB already its all you create a DB and point to that when you are installing BI 4
