SAP HANA Cloud Platform local runtime not available in "Servers" list

Hello,

I installed SAP HANA Cloud Platform tools in HANA Developer Studio through Kepler. Screenshot is attached.

I have also downloaded the SAP HANA Cloud SDK - "neo-javaee6-wp-sdk-2.28.3.1".

Now, in my Studio, when I add a new Server, then under SAP folder, I do not see an option for "SAP HANA Cloud Platform local runtime". (screenshot is attached).

I am on Windows 8.

What am I missing?

Regards,

Akhil

Hi,

actually you have selected server that represents a cloud instance. If you have downloaded neo-javaee6-wp-sdk, which represents Java EE 6 Web Profile, then you have to select the corresponding server.

checkout these links with from our documentation:

https://help.hana.ondemand.com/help/frameset.htm?7613f000711e1014839a8273b0e91070.html

P.S. Just note that servers that represent a cloud instance no longer needs a runtime, it can be configured separately and does not require downloaded SDK.

best regards,

Dimitar
