Dear Experts ,

Need your advise eon the following issue and let me know what configuration is required.

I have set MRP as background job and i am able to see none of the Purchase requisitions/ Planned orders getting reschedule .

I had 100 's of Purchase requisitions and planned orders as on 07.01.0215 which were nit processed , so was expected last

MRP run has to reschedule these elements (PR's and planned orders).which is not happening,

Still i am able to see the release date of all these elements as 07.01.2015 .Manually if i run MRP in foreground it is getting rescheduled.

Waiting for your replies

Regards,

Daya,

This could be because of your Rescheduling horizon configuration in OMDW.

Whether your Planned orders and Purchases requisitions are firmed?

See below SAP WIKI for better understanding What is rescheduling and how does it work - ERP Manufacturing (PP) - SCN Wiki

Whenever the MRP finds a requirement, it checks if this requirement can be covered for an existing fixed receipt (within the rescheduling horizon), before creating a new replenishment element (planned order). This procedure is called “rescheduling check”.

If a fixed replenishment element is found, an exception message is created, suggesting the user to reschedule this fixed element in order to cover the shortage.
