Which Enterprise Business Function should be activated?

Hi all,

We are On the way to commence the setting of Dispute & Collection Management, leaving for a second phase the setting of Credit Management.

Now, it is our duty to activate an Enterprise  Business functions (transaction code SFW5) so that functionalities are available on the 3 FSCM modules, but I am not sure which one (or which ones)  should be activated.

I believe FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION_3 is the one to be activated. Is this ok? I know it has dependencies so that FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION should be activated first. Is there another component that should be activated apart from those 2?

In adition, which EPH should accompany the Enterprise Business Function activated? Or what do you recommend in this sense?.

Thanks in advance.

FIN_FSCM_CCD_3 and Integration 3 are the latest.

in order to activate the latest ones - you need to activate the prior ones as well.

Hi Mark,

Looking inside transation SFW5  (inside Enterprise Business Functions folder), my target FSCM components about FSCM are these in yellow:

Now, I see FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION_3 has a dependency with   FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION. That means, just as you say, that I have to switch it on before number 3.

However, I need to raise these two questions:

1. There is no FIN_FSCM_CCD_3 at all inside SWF5, just INTEGRATION, is this important or not?

2. Do I have to switch on FIN_FSCM_INTEGRATION (before FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION and FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION_3).

I know it is a matter of Basic work, however I need to tell them which component to activate in order to have the latest functionality. And to be honest, I am not sure, mainly because I cannot find the FIN_FSCM_CCD nor FIN_FSCM_CCD_3 component in this installation, only ***INTEGRATION*** components. This is tricky.

Please, be as accurate as you can in your respond.

Thank you so much.

Wilson.

Hi Mark (or anybody),

Can you confirm to me if FIN_FSCM_INTEGRATION has to be switched on, before FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION and FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION_3?

I haven´t been able to find any information directly related to this question in the forum. Quite on the contrary, I have found unanswered threads about not being sure of declared errors because of not switching on the FIN_FSCM_INTEGRATION...

I am very lost about this issue, bearing in mind that we will start setting Collection and Dispute Management, and leave Credit Management for a future period.

Many thanks in advance

You can tick them all at the same time - save and then transport so there is no issue.

Please read the information within SWF5 around dependencies, and also the content provided in each Business Function Set.

Activating both sets is applicable if you have a single SAP ECC landscape for FI-AR and FSCM

Thanks Mark!

I will switch the 3 components and transport them, just as you say, and I will read the information related carefully.
