Hi,

I've problem when create a quotation with Prospective Customer.

In particular when I insert the sold to party, it appears a pop-up related to the address informations.

If i confirm, I can't go on and appears the message "Change in address needed for one-off sold to party". So,if i modify the Name (in the quotation) I can register the documents.

How I can fix the problem?

Thanks and best regards.

Antonio

Hi Antonio,

This is completely a very normal situation and SAP Standard where for the one time customer you need to change the details every time you use, and that is the reason we call them one time customer.

if you really wanted the customer with fixed address and details in that case you should have opted for the account group other than one time.

What I can suggest is first make up you mind and get cleared with your business if they want the one time customer or regular customer for the quotation.

if it is one time customer in that case you need to enter the address and all the required details.

if in case you dont want this detals to me be mandatory you can make the required changes in the account group - field status, where in those details can be suppressed.

I hope this should be helpful

Kind Regards,

Sridhar.

Hi,

We must use the one time customer with more details than the standard settings.

The address and the details are ok in the customer master and appears in the pop-up. In the attached example, I've only overwrite the datas for privacy.

It's strange that if I add "." in the Name1, I can go on.

Thanks

even you can just add a coma or fullstop will be like you have made a new sentence, and thats how it goes on.

Thanks,

Sridhar.

In the last week I've added the name2 and district to the Customer Group one-time Customer.

Now, as described in the 1st email, when insert the customer in the quotation appears the pop-up that block the document creation.

Thanks.

it seems you have one time customer configured for this.

in the account group check if the one time account is ticked?

SPRO-financial accounting-account receivable and accounts payable-customer accounts-master data-prep for creating customer master data-define acount groups with screen layout ( Customer)- select your account group - go to details and check.

Thanks,

Sridhar.

Hi Sridhar,

Yes he's an one-time customer and the one-time account is ticked.

I've added last week to this Account Group in General Data - Address the Name2 and District.

Thanks and regards.

I haven't solved the issue. The settings seems correct. But after these changes (name 2 and district) I've had the problem.
