Hi GS,
This problem is very difficult to find out. You can check in below ways.
1. Make a group of orders and try to confirm one group at a time. For example if you have 100 orders and want to confirm all; do 10 each time. In that way you will come to know which set of orders is having problem. Its easy to detect.
2. If you find the problem in most of the cases, its better to confirm one by one. There might be issue where you have operation confirmation by mistake and now you are trying to do on header level.

Hi GS,
This is due to the Dialog Box which comes up during the confirmation of a Production order where triggering point is activated for one of the Operations.
To Avoid this you need to do the confirmation individually or alter the Triggering point such that additional Operation is not required.
Hope this will solve your query.

Hello G S ,
I have faced similar situation when using BAPI for BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT to enter the confirmation as background job .
Initially the confirmation where failed with this error. As we had correction Job CO1P & CO16N followed by the Confirmation job to solve such issue.
As there are several update programs are triggered in asynchronous mode while confirming the production order in , the failure of one such program can cause this issue.
This also caused by performance of your system.
Hope this might help you!

GS,
If you are doing mass confirmation for order in background through a BAPI or any other program then this issue occurs when there is a incorrect goods movement for which can be processed through COGI.
It is not possible to trigger a error message for any incorrect goods movements in background confirmation.
Please refer below SAP Note for detailed notes
1586230 - FAQ: Confirmation by BAPI in production order
Question:
How can I achieve a termination in the case of incorrect goods movements in the BAPI?
Answer:
The goods movements in the BAPI are mainly posted in the update program; as a result, you cannot send a dialog and cause a termination. Note 208477 describes this in more detail.

Hello
Some problem happened during the order confirmation. Try to post the confirmation on CO11N where you should have more details about the error.
