Deactivation of Plant

Hi SAP Gurus,

We have one requirement and for this requirement, i gone through many docs but still i have some confusion so i am posting here. Actually, my client want to deactivate one plant from all prospective. From SD point of view, is there any chance to determine that particular Plant if we remove all the Shipping Point related data as well as Plant assignment data?

Is there any particular way, so that we can block the Plant from all prospective?
