snap_no_new_entry error in sap

Hi All,

we are facing snap_no_new_entry ump for all SAP transaction in one of the SAP system.

can some please suggest what was the cause and how to resolve this issue.

OS ; Linux

DB is Sybase

Siva,

The Probable chance may be disk full, check if you are getting 1105 errors in the ASE logs, if so

1. Increase the Database log size (or)

2. Dump the transaction log.

Hi Kiran,

If you get a dump at logon you should be able to call SE38 and run RSSNAPDL which will delete the old entries from the SNAP table.

Try it, Also make sure that all the housekeeping jobs are scheduled so this doesn't happen again.
