Hello,
I have a client requirement to have quota allocated to customers instead of Org units or sales person! A sales representative should be assigned to each customer. The quota of each sales rep should be the sum of his/her customer's quotas.
Example:
Customer | Quota assigned to customer | Sales Rep assigned to customer |
---|---|---|
A | 10000 | SAM |
B | 12000 | TONY |
C | 5000 | SAM |
D | 9000 | SAM |
E | 13000 | TONY |
So according to the above quotas, Sam's quota should be 24000. But the quota is not directly assigned to SAM.
Q1) Is it possible to assign quota to customers?
Q2) If yes, is it possible to sum it up to the sales rep?
Thanks
Hi Vaibhav,
I am afraid this is not possible.
First of all, the PPM is used to manage the pipeline performance of your employees. You can set the quota to your sales org, sales rep. But how could you set the quota to a customer? The logic of this idea is incorrect at first place.

The customer requirement was that there should be a quota set at the customer level, which means if 10000 USD quota is set to customer A for a month, then the sales to this customer should be done more that 10000 USD. The sales rep should work on this customers to get Purchase orders of value more than 10000 USD.
But I guess this could not happen.
Thanks anyway.
Really appreciate you coming back at this post.
