Upgrade ASE 15.7 SP122 to ASE 16 (Linux)

Hello @All,

during the manual upgrade process (ASE 15.7 SP122 to ASE 16) i get the following error by executing the ./upgrade ($SYBASE/ASE-16_0/bin) executable:

Please enter the password for 'sa'.

Password:

DB-Library: Server name not found in interface file.

Does anybody know what is causing the problem and how i can solve the isssue?

More informations:

@@servername is set correctly,

interface file is correct (isql -S works fine),

sysservers is set up correctly.

I solved the problem.

It is possible to specify the server with -S.

Now the upgrade works!
