Where to find the supported OS for ECC 6.0 ERP 2005 IDES

Hi Guys,

We are planning a installation of ECC 6.0 ERP 2005 IDES (pretty old version), and we are not able to find the supported Operating systems for this installation. I have checked in PAM of service market place, but that is only for ECC 6.0 EHP3.

We were able to get the media from SAP as it was archived, but we are not sure where to find the supported Operating systems and Databases.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Nikilesh

Hi Siva,

Thanks for your reply. We had gone through PAM and went ahead with the installation on RHEL 6, later when we ran the Pre-requisites check we came to know that is OS is not supported.

So we contacted SAP and came to know that the details and media shown on market place(PAM) is not for ECC 6.0, but for ECC 6.0 EHP3.

Do you want to still install on RHEL6 ?

Goto the ret-hat version file and edit it. Replace this version name with a support version and then try again.

Tried that and was not successful. We are now planning to install on Windows 2003 server, but we do not have any justifications saying that it will be supported.

Sure, its Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.6 (Santiago).

I changed it to 4.4 and got the same error, kept it blank and got the same error.
