Skip component error while upload BOM using LSMW

Dear SAP PM Guru,

I am currently using LSMW to create BOM for PM. The problem that I am encountering now is: if there is one BOM component which has error, the whole BOM will not be created.

Is there any better way for us to make LSMW script which could skip the error component and move to the next component and create the BOM without the error one.

If error log could log the error component then it is the best.

Thanks for your help.

    Phi,

    The BOM will not createt if you get an error in one of the BOM component,

    if you still want to create the BOM ,You have 2 options:

    Option1:

    You can run  the LSMW and based of the log file remove the error component from the source file and re run it .

    Option 2:

    if the amount of records to be loaded is not high volume , then you could you selected  the option  "Display only screens with errors" and then you need to correct it online whenever there is error  .

    • Thanks Mark,

      it seems we have no way to skip the error and we have to prepare the BOM components perfectly before creating the BOM.

      Thanks for your response.

    Thanks Rakesh,

    But I am looking for LSMW way so I do not have to get ABAP involved.

    Hello,

    if you use LSMW standart batch option ( first one) with :

    object = 0030

    Method =0001

    Program name = RSCBI010

    you will then get error log with the componant which caused the error
