Withdrawal Quantity and MRP Run

Former Member

Dear All

We run MRP based on the PIR quantity updated in MD61. Now I see that if I run the MRP say on 7th Jan and my PIR is for 1000, in MD62 it considers only 800 for planning and displays 200 as withdrawn qty. But this 200 was withdrawn for last month plan, but it has been done this month. How do we control this so that system considers 1000 as plan.

Secondly I see that for few materials only withdrawn quantity is displayed and for few it is not displayed. What may be the reason for this.

Hi Kiran

I see that there is withdrawal qty of 44,220. And the plan given is 207800. But in MD61 it is considering the plan after subtracting the withdrawal qty. I do not want it to consider the withdrawal qty which is done previously.

But it shows in current month for withdrawal quantity and More over it is standard behavior of the system once PIR is been consumed MRP would plan for remaining PIR quantities.

You need to look for any alternative way for adjusting PIR accordingly with PIR consumption or during MRP run you need to include those consumed PIR check with any enhancements with which you can do this.

Hi

The withdrawal qty was updated prior to the updation of PIR. Based on previous month PIR, the consumption is made for this month. So it is considering the same and subtracting.

Hi

The PIR was created through a BAPI. So in this case, it will consider the withdrawal quantity.

The note 144513 helped i solving this. thank you for support,

Adithya,

Check your Planning strategy and Consumption mode and period days for different materials.
