Hello SAP expert users,
We are having hard time in troubleshooting the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) on SAP Business One Application.
SAP Version: SAP 9.0 PL09 HotFix
SQL Version: MS SQL 2008 R2
SAP applications installed on the SAPServer:
We are importing the fixed asset template through DTW in the SAPServer itself wherein the SAP B1 client is installed, but after selecting the templates, the message "Unhanded exception appears". To make the explanation simple, we can successfully login on DTW on the server itself, but we are encountering error and we can't proceed with the importing of templates.
We also tried to install and configure the DTW on SAP workstations, however different errors occur.
For reference, please see attached screenshots
Unable to access SBO-Common database error appears when we input the SERVER NAME on DTW.
we also tried the IP Address of the server, but this error message occurs.
Steps taken but did not help solve the issue:
1. We can login successfully on SQL Server Management Studio (ALL services are running, restarting of all services are taken of course)
2. Windows firewall is off on the server (including the firewall of the anti virus is off)
3. For the SAP workstations, uninstalling and re installing the SAP client (32 & 64 bit) and DWT are tried as well.
(Note: Given that all workstations are on the same network, domain, sub net and gateway)
(Note2: Another add on is installed for SAP Business One, which is iVend Retail, a POS system which is integrated into SAP business One. That is why we can't try uninstalling and re installing the SAP client, di api and dtw on the server. It may damage the processing or system.
Please help us ASAP regarding this concern, we can't also import even a basic template through DTW in SAP Business One. It suddenly crushes on the server and on the workstations, it can't connect.
Thank you and Best Regards,
