Hello All,
Once the tender has been accepted by the carrier (sub contracting status = Sent and tendering status = Completed)
For some explicit reason if we cancel the FO, quotation cancellation email is not being sent out
same works fine if the tendering is in active status (Published) but when the tendering is complete FO get's deleted and no cancel email to the carrier
Any thoughts on whats missing
Thanks
Lohit Kumar
Hi Lohit,
the e-mail is only sent while the tendering is in progress - as you say, in your example the tendering is already completed. Hence there is no e-mail to be sent.
Kind regards,
Sabine

No, it will not cancel the quotation. The quotation is just an "intermediate" document, now at this point in time the leading document is the freight order. And a cancellation for this one is sent to the carrier via EDI. Unfortunately we do not offer the capability to also send an e-mail for the FO cancellation, so he can only receive it via EDI.
Please consider that the very same scenario could also take place with no tendering being involved, but the carrier could have been assigned manually to the freight order. In that case you would expect the same FO cancellation as above. This step is in dependent from tendering.
Best regards,
Sabine

Even if you discovered the solution without any outside contributions, it helps others to understand what the solution turned out to be.
