My Leave Request - Failure Error

Hi,

I am trying to set up leave request and using all standard catalog and fiori. I have activated all services and double checked but it is giving below error when I click on Tiles.

Failure - Unable to start App

I don't see any error in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG but collected few error log from Crome browser using F12.

I followed all the steps as per below link

I am using the below link for launchpad and running catalog for "My Leave Request"

Hi Sanjeev,

It says https 500 error. Most probably you have set wrong system alias or RFC destination.

Please double check your customizing settings.

Hi Masa,

thanks for looking my issue.

well I am using http url and nowhere https is being used.

now I switch to Z_GS_U01 custom role to verify the leaveRequest but getting same error. I have assigned Z_GS_U01 to catalog and created role in PFCG to connect to catalog.

Failure - Unable to start App.

I just ran the UI5 apps in browser and getting the not found error

Please suggest for any posibility.......

I am using local system in config and I checked with LOCAL/local/space/SAP_LOCALSYSTEM but getting the same error for each one.

Hi Sanjeev,

I was talking about the system alias for OData. You can test "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/ResolveLink?linkId='LeaveRequest-createLeaveRequest'&shellType='FLP'&formFactor='desktop'" in the Gateway Client.

You should see the error Launchpad UIX01HCM / TRANSACTIONAL / MyLeaveRequests does not exist in client 100. You can set external breakpoints in the OData method and find the root cause of the error.

I have tried to execute ODATA URL but it is not giving error in ST22 or /IWFND/ERROR_LOG. It is hard to put external debug though I tried.

do you really think it is authorization issue, well I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW access.

Hi Masa,

I checked Fiori App with standard role for leaveReqyest, but it is showing same error.

SAP_HCM_TCR_T_X1

SAP_HCM_BCR_EMPLOYEE_X1

I did remove all roles from my id and re-assigned them but no success. I use cache clean transaction(/IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP) as well.

looking any other posibility, well I have another transaction like MM(track Purchase Requsition) and it is working fine. This error is coming for HCM app.

I see the system alias is LOCAL. Was it delivered by SAP? or Did you maintain it?

Hi Masa,

I have gateway server with ECC, HCM and using for prototyping.

Local System alias is created and mapped to GS4(RFC name as system id). Attaching screen shot for reference.
