Calculation Issue with BI 4.1 SP5

Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2012

Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 10

Hi,

Please see the screenshots below.

I selected Segments S5100, S5200, S5940 and right-clicked to select: Calculation -> Add

After selecting Add, the Segments disappeared:

Hi Michael

I've tried unsuccessfully to reproduce your scenario. You are doing perfectly normal workflow and I would expect this to work. Is the problem just with the Organization hierarchy? What if you replace Organization with Products and try the same calculation?

Is there anything unusual in the Organization hierarchy... for example does an Organization member have different Units for different Segments. This could cause the calculation to fail when trying to add together different units.

The problem went away after I restored the cube from a recent Production backup. I really don't know why the problem was occurring. I am guessing that the cube got corrupted somehow...
