Business Completion without settlement

Hi SAP PM Experts,

In 2009 some PM -orders were confirmed. After the financial settlement of the periods, the period was closed.

We now want to complete now(CLSD status),but cannot do this as there are balance costs on work order.
This cannot be settled in the current posting period or we cannot open posting period of 2009.

Could you please provide SAP Note or options to Close(business complete) these work orders without doing settlement.

Hi,

This error is issued as full error or a warning depending on settings in the settlement profile.

To be settled in full will give a error.
Can be settled will generate only a warning

You may want to consider temporarily changing this setting in the settlement profile (transaction OKO7) to allow closing these old orders.
