Hello experts,

When running incompletion checks in import customs declaration (for USA), I'm stopped by this error:

"Field Notes not defined for Partn. Function Type Representative".

Please help me to resolve it.

Thanks,

Satish

Hi Satish,

It would have saved me some time if you had answered my question.

I found that the Partner Function 'CUSSTP' is used for the Representative, and the incompletion check fails due to an empty "Remarks" field in the address of that partner.

However, at least in the Test system that I have access to, adding a remark there (table BUT020, field REMARK) doesn't clear the message, so it seems more complicated than that. The problem has something to do with the Determination Supplement 'FZ1' that is assigned to the Incompletion Field PAR_VER_CUSTV in customising.

In this instance, I suggest you create an OSS Incident and ask SAP to take a look at it.

Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

My bad, I thought I provided the info. I don't have field REMARK in table in my version (GTS 10.1). Here is my config for PAR_VER_CUSTV:

FYI, here's a screen-shot from GTS 10.1:

Hi Satish,

Which Partner Function is used for the Representative?

Hi Dave,

The partner function is CUSSTP (Representative for customs).

I'm adding this partner function in a BADI implementation (BADI Definition: /SAPSLL/CUHD_PROP)

Thanks,
Satish
