Position not getting updated in PPOME

Hi All,

I am running an org reassignment action in which I am changing the position of the employee within the same Org unit. During me Org reassignment action, I input the new position ID to which the employee should be assigned, save the record and move forward.

Next is IT0001 infotype - the old position gets delimited as per the Org reassignment action date.

But, the employee is not getting automatically assigned in OM to the new position. I checked the inetgration switches as well.

PLOGI ORGA = X

PLOGI PLOGI = 01

PLOGI PRELI = 99999999

PPVAC PPVAC = 1

I am running these actions with retro dates.

Also, in OM, two records are getting created as shown in the screen shot.

16.12.2014 is the account assignment date in PPOME, which defaults to the date on which the position was created. I have changed the validity date of the position via PP01 to 01.01.1900. But I have noticed that an OM record gets created based on the account assignment date.

Is there a way to change this date as well??

Please suggest which link is missing.

    i have noticed that the positions are getting delimited as of the date on which relationship between Position and Or unit is created.

    Integration is not working correctly.

    Hi

    for your clear understanding, you are changing the employee position through action type re-assignment but same org. unit. to see the new relationship between P & S in the OM structure you have to run the reports for updation of objects relationships.

    OM to PA report RHINTE10

    PA to OM report RHINTE00

    PD & PA report RHINTE30

    consistency b/w OM & PA report RHINTE20

      Can you please re-create the position while giving the start date in PPOM_OLD as the first date of December and assign the same to position?

      Also please run the above reports as specified by Praneeth.

    If your very new to below reports

    OM to PA report RHINTE10

    PA to OM report RHINTE00

    PD & PA report RHINTE30

    consistency b/w OM & PA report RHINTE20

    i think so this reports only for bulk Objects update but in your case only for one employee i hope so you needn't to run above reports i mean just go PP02 and maintain respective details in fields and delimit the record that's all.

    Note: Above reports only for avoid manual entry and time same.
