Missing Index

Dear Sir or Madam

We have a Z table in our Oracle Database running on HP-UX for SAP ECC 6.

The check database returns an error MISSING_INDEX for primary index of this Z table.

In SE14 transaction it shows:

Index_ID: ZTFINCUME - 0

Primary index

Status:Active & Saved

Does not exist in the database

When we recreate the index in SE14 it throws an error: Duplicate keys found.

Can you please help us to overcome this issue because I would like to have my check database clean.

Best regards

Ernesto Mandlate

      Hi Sunil Bujade,

I have taken a look to the note 1413928. The note provides solution of this  problem if the oracle version is equal or below 10.2.0.4 while my oracle version is 10.2.0.5.

Is there a way I can use to recereate this index, taking into account that it is primary index.

      Best regards

      Ernesto

If I am in your place I would first investigate a bit more about the error "Duplicate keys found".

Have you checked the Oracle alert log when the error comes?
