Quick Poll Not Working

Hi,

I have completed the basic and system configuration of collaboration. In the content management->quick poll config i am able to create and start a poll, but the poll is not being displayed in the quick poll iview.

Can any one suggest what could be wrong

HI,

1. Consider i have to start 3 polls at different time, should i include all the 3 polls in a single campaign or i should create individual campaign for each poll.

2. DO we have to change the campaign name[in the quick poll iview] each time we create a new campaign. Is there any option for automatic recognition of the campaign for the current poll.

3. Result Display: i checked the result display option you mentioned, it is set, but the result bar chart is not being displayed.

can you suggest any more steps to check.

Hello,

1. You should make three campains and tree iviews to show the different campains

2. you confuse campaign and poll - the campaign name stays the same (ex sales ) - sales can have several polls each with a new name but only one is active

3. If you get a result for ex 50% voted A but you see a red cross instead of the graph it is probably to do with your browser being unable to show a java appplet.

Hi Venkat,

Have you tried modifying the layout. I had a similar display problem today and modifying layout did the work.

1. After i changed the campaign name and path as /documents/QuickPoll now i can see the quick poll.i can vote but the result(bar chart is not being displayed).

2. I have added the Role:eu_role to a use.

In Home->company-> i have the quick poll iview, but the quick poll is not being displayed here.what to do.

Hi

Add campaign to the iview located in this path.

portal Content ->Content Provided by sap->end user content->standard portal users->iviews->com.sap.km iviews->

Quick Poll iview... then the poll will be displayed in the Eu_role.

The result may not be displayed because in the general tab in the creation of poll(Quick poll admin iview) the Result Availability option may be not checked properly..

Maybe its a client problem. In order to show the grapics in the result your client needs java.

Make sure A. Java runtime is installed / B. You browser supports Java applets ( for IE in advanced options )
