Data lables issue with Pie chart in SAP Design studio

Hi Team,

I am using SAP Design Studio 1.3 SP02, In Pie chart I am facing  issue while selecting the option show Data labels,
and if i select the format default it is displaying values as percentage with two decimal places ,or  if I select #,##0 it is displaying as web(1), like that but I get the actual value if I do mouse over . This creates confusion with users

I want to display percentage with "0" decimal place. pls find the same in attached snap shots

Hello Bala ,

Here is the work around for avoiding decimals and zeros in the chart labels in DS 1.3 sp02.

In the additional properties of the chart, under Data Labels give(manually type ) the  Formats as ###%.

the Data labels in the chart will be displayed as below .

Bala - would it be possible to try this on a machine with Design Studio 1.4 as a client? Be sure to install the patch released December 19

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the response, I saw the note which is about displaying data labels inside or outside the pie chart, it does not give any information about the display format of the values.

Yes, Bala, I realize that is the case; still is it possible to try your scenario on 1.4 (patch 0) to see what happens?
